The Artist
|
Pam Lacombe-Connell received a BFA in Painting from the Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, MA. She was awarded the
David Berger Scholarship for outstanding work during undergraduate studies.
The resolute thread that runs throughout her work is that of the bond between man and animal. She works in a wide variety
of mediums, including acrylic, gouache, pastel and pencil.
Her work has been exhibited throughout New England in one-person, as well as juried group exhibitions. Her paintings are
represented in private collections across the United States and Europe.
She currently lives in southern New Hampshire where she produces paintings, portraits and handmade artist's cards in her
studio: Coyote Farm Fine Arts. Her son's junior sleddog sprint team consisting of an Alaskan husky, Siberian husky and hound
crosses provide daily inspiration for her sleddog portraits and mushing related art.
